Creating a digital space for rural women
WISE hub Kenya has rolled out ICT training to our women entrepreneurs.
In the 21 first century for a woman to thrive in business we have to do away with our old ways of doing things. In the past trends, youths and preferably the male gender has always been given the priority of gaining computer literacy skills. Our women have always been left behind.
WISE is coming in to solve this digital divide and definitely it will make life easier for our women entrepreneurs. The concept of gaining computer literacy skills will empower our women entrepreneurs and an empowered woman is a destined successful woman in all the fields of her life.
With the skills they have been gaining, they will change their marketing strategies and not only focus on the old method of sitting by roadside to wait for customers for their products.
Our women farmers through our partnership with Mshamba will be able to find ready clients for their fresh produce hence more income generation.
The WISE hub will ensure that our women in ecotourism are able to market their crafts both in the local markets and the international market. Our women entrepreneurs have the zeal to acquire these skills and WISE is also determined to make this noble action blossom.
