Green Energy Enterprises
Through the Smokeless Homes initiative, WISE enables rural households access to clean and affordable energy facilities for cooking, lighting and phone charging.
Currently, we train women in green energy entreprises in the region in all the different product lines including; Solar lamps, improved cook stoves, briquettes, biogas etc on business models and entrepreneurship with the aim of growing and scaling their energy businesses.
They become our local ambassadors to promote awareness on the benefits of using green energy technologies in the households to combat climate change.
Creative Economy
WISE endeavors to include women in the ecotourism business through various avenues, including the production of value-added handmade crafts, nature photography, and eco-cultural tourism through cultural dances and traditional foodstuffs.
Agribusiness
WISE promotes food security in the community and beyond at the household level while encouraging women to generate income through modern farming techniques such as kitchen and conical gardens.
