We carry our Business Development services through participatory hackathons, co-creation of business models, Entrepreneurship Bootcamps and Incubation support services including mentorship, coaching and networking to businesses or Innovations around Lake economy and community health for Lake Victoria region.

Targeted over 20 Youth entrepreneurs in the Lake Region Econimic Bloc (LREB) region
Top 3 awarded seed grants.
Through this we enabled rural households access to clean and affordable energy facilities for cooking, lighting and phone charging.
Currently, we train women in green energy enterprises in the region in all the different product lines including; Solar lamps, improved cook stoves, briquettes, biogas etc. on business models and entrepreneurship with the aim of growing and scaling their energy businesses.
Ecotourism
Trained 30+ Women in eco-tourism ventures in Kisumu
Established an ecommerce platform- to market green enterprises across the Lake region
WISE endeavors to include women in the ecotourism business through various avenues, including the production of value-added handmade crafts, nature photography, and eco-cultural tourism through cultural dances and traditional foodstuffs.

AfriFOODlinks envisions a thriving network of cities in Africa and beyond, in which food systems and nutrition are firmly established on the local governance agenda. Citizen-led multi-stakeholder governance platforms welcome diverse voices to inform policy and urban planning processes that promote food and nutrition security and environmentally regenerative practices.
